Library Giving Day: April 1, 2026

LGD 2026

On Wednesday, April 1, library supporters across the U.S. and Canada will unite in an incredible movement to empower their community libraries. Join the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation and nearly 600 library systems and organizations in celebrating the transformative power of public libraries and giving back to your community library.

This Library Giving Day, can we count on your support in raising $70,000 for Sno-Isle Libraries' incredible programs and services to ensure our libraries continue to thrive?

Library Giving Day and National Library Week (April 19-25) remind us of the incredible treasure we have in our local libraries. Spaces that brim with knowledge, ideas and people that can profoundly shape and transform lives. For many, the memory of receiving that first library card remains a cherished moment — the key that unlocked a world of endless possibilities and ignited a lifelong passion for learning and discovery. Libraries are more than just buildings filled with books; they are gateways to new ideas, personal growth and shared community.
