Donor-Advised Funds (DAF)

A Donor-Advised Fund is a low-cost and convenient charitable giving fund that allows you to designate your favorite charities as beneficiaries. DAFs can be established through many financial institutions or community foundations. The Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation tax identification number is 91-2010318.

Legacy Giving

The Foundation staff would be pleased to discuss with you your plans to make a legacy gift that would bring joy to you and your family and ensure the wellbeing of the library for future generations. The Foundation accepts bequests, life insurance policies, retained life estates, retirement plans, IRS designations, as well as a number of charitable lead and remainder trusts. We'll help you find the option that's right for you by working with you and your advisors.

The Foundation does not put limits on the size and manner of estate gifts. As each person's financial situation is unique, so too can be the way you include the libraries in your planned giving. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more or would like a sample bequest language.

Please consult your legal or tax advisor about making or revising your will. If you are planning a bequest to the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation, we encourage you to contact us to discuss your intent. This will ensure that there are no obstacles in carrying out your wishes. It is our policy to keep this information strictly confidential.

Matching Gifts

If your employer has a Matching Gift Program, you can amplify the impact of your gift. Many employers double or even triple gifts made by their employees, retirees, and their families to support their philanthropic generosity.
