Issues That Matter

44 Issues That Matter Forums

Sno-Isle Libraries is a convener and facilitator, a place where people can come together and discuss the issues that affect their communities.

Issues That Matter forums are meant to encourage community conversations on high-profile topics. All events are free and open to the public.

The Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation began funding the Issues That Matter series in 2010 to encourage important community conversations on high-profile, current event topics. Issues That Matter provides a forum for civil, open discussion with the guidance of expert panelists and facilitators.

Past topics have included Looking Forward as population increases in the region, Mental Health, Teen Suicide and Homelessness. Many Issues That Matter forums are recorded and available to view after the event. In addition, all 2019 Issues That Matter forums were livestreamed online for those unable to attend.
